The book ‘Local Government in North Carolina’ has been updated periodically (every 5-10 years) since 1993. Offering the 2021 edition under a creative commons license makes it easy to contextualize, translate and repurpose the material.

The Project is funded through the UNC Center for Faculty Excellence Lenovo Grant for Instructional Innovation and by the North Carolina City and County Management Association.
